Events
Deborah Pomeranz, SD FORCE Outreach Coordinator will be hosting our next event at her home in Cardiff. Light appetizers, dessert and beverages will be served.

Guest Speaker: Lisa Madlensky.
Lisa Madlensky is a Genetic Counselor and Assistant Professor at the Moores UCSD Cancer Center where she leads the new Family Cancer Genetics Program. Dr. Madlensky received her MSc in Genetic Counseling from McGill University where she trained with Dr. Steven Narod and specialized in cancer genetics. She obtained her PhD in health outcomes from the University of Toronto in 2002, and moved to San Diego to conduct research in familial cancer at UCSD. Dr. Madlensky’s research interests include improving methods to collect cancer family histories, health behaviors in high-risk families, and personalized genetic and environmental risk assessment.
