New Attendees
Please join us for a free, informal “orientation meet-and-greet” on Thursday, June 24th – 6:00 – 7:00 PM in the Hospitality Suite room 322. Meet other first time attendees and pair up with seasoned FORCE members who have attended prior conferences. Start your conference experience with a set of new friends! This event is free and no registration is required.
Join us for our Fire(works) and Ice(cream) Welcome Reception
Join us Thursday, June 24 8:00 – 10:00 PM in the 20 Seven Lounge on the penthouse floor of the hotel for a special welcome reception offering dessert, wine, an art exhibit, and an amazing view of Orlando and Epcot’s fireworks show. Cost is $25 per person. Tickets can be purchased through our conference registration page and limited numbers of tickets will be available the night of the party.
Spouse Support Group
We’ll have a Spouse Support Group special meeting on Saturday, June 25th at 8:00 PM. This meeting is free. The group was created for spouses and significant others to share experiences and information and to support each other. This meeting will be facilitated by Dr. Paul Kredow, a psychologist with 25 years of clinical experience and personal experience as the husband of a BRCA+ wife. Snacks and beverages will be served. Room 2525 (twenty-fifth floor).
Women Only!! Please join us at a FREE “Girls’ Night In” Party
Join us Friday, June 25 – 8:00 – 9:30 PM and a second party on Friday, June 25, 9:30 PM --12:00 PM. We speak more freely. We laugh louder. We get a little silly. And most importantly, we connect! Join Pure Romance and your FORCE sisters for wine, cheese and a lot of laughter, fun and bonding, and learn about products designed to bring the romance back into our lives. Sign up will be at the conference and space will be limited. Pure Romance (www.pureromance.com) will generously donate 20% of all sales to FORCE. This is a free event.
Birds of a Feather Show & Tell Room!
Back by popular demand, our Birds of a Feather Show & Tell Room offers women who are contemplating mastectomy or reconstruction the opportunity to meet and learn in person from women who have had these procedures. Our Show & Tell Room will be open Friday, June 25, 7:00 – 11:00 PM and Saturday, June 26, 7:00 – 11:00 PM in the Hospitality Suite, room 322. Drop in and say hello. This event is free.
Party on the Veranda- Special event hosted by FORCE. Join us on Saturday, June 26th at 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. Tickets: $15. Meet on the veranda for an evening of relaxing, mingling and FUN! Stay tuned for more details soon.
