jan finer Memorial Fund
Jan Finer was a member of FORCE, and a volunteer coordinator for our Tampa Bay Outreach Network. Jan believed that information about cancer genetics can be empowering and life-saving. She worked tirelessly to raise awareness about hereditary breast and ovarian cancer, even while she was undergoing treatment for ovarian cancer. Tragically, Jan died at age 49 of ovarian cancer.
We have created a fund in Jan's memory. Donations to FORCE are tax-deductible. 100% of the fund donations will go towards providing lifesaving education and outreach focused on hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.
Many companies will also match donations made by their employees. Please ask your employer if your company has a matching gifts policy.
- $5,000 delivers the latest in BRCA research and information to 2500 families.
- $2,500 prints 10,000 brochures about hereditary breast and ovarian cancer risks.
- $500 gives 60,000 visitors access to our website for one month.
- $200 provides phone-based support and resources via our Helpline for one month.
- $100 provides a package of informational to doctors offices and hospitals.
